How to update as an agent
Update application (Step 1/7)
You can update information such as name, address, gender, new photo upload on file with the Department and deactivate any agent license.
Have your Digital photo, Driver’s ID or State Id, Proof of residency document ready to complete the prompted fields with your original license information.
Update name in the application (Step 2/7)
- To update your name you will need valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID Card.
Update address in the application (Step 3/7)
- To update your address you will need Proof of residency (and any address change documentation) List of accepted documents >
Update gender in the application (Step 4/7)
- To update your gender you will need Digital Photo, Valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID Card. List of accepted photo types >
Update photo in the application (Step 5/7)
- To update your photo you will need Digital Photo. List of accepted photo types >
Update application to deactivate the agent id license (Step 6/7)
- Select yes for the deactivate the agent id license question in the License Information Tab of the Agent Update page.
Notification updates (Step 7/7)
Monitor your inbox for updates from the review process by IDOA.
You will receive an email notification on any rejections due to potential issues with your application.
Rejected applications must be corrected and resubmitted through NLS.
