How to renew business license

1/3 - Renew Application

You can renew your business license through the Department’s licensing portal using the "Business License Renewal" option.

  • Fill out the application

    Complete all fields and attestations.

  • Upload the following documents:

    • Confirmation of completing the Diversity Report
    • Environmental Plan Report 
    • Power of Attorney (POA Form) (if applicable)  
    • Other relevant documents (as applicable) 

  • Pay the specified amount

    Refer to the Application and Fees Table for the exact amount.
    • Some Craft Grower and Infuser applicants may be offered a quarterly payment option.
    • You may pay via e-check (no additional transaction fee) or credit card (an additional transaction fee applies).

  • Submit your application 

2/3 - Notification Updates

  • Monitor your inbox for updates from IDOA regarding your application status.
  • You will receive an email notification if there are any rejections due to issues with your renewal application.
  • Correct any issues and resubmit your application through NLS.

3/3 - Download Renewed License

  • Once approved, you will receive an email containing your login details.
  • Log back into the portal to download and print a copy of your renewed license.
