Craft Grower Canopy Expansion

Effective immediately, craft growers may submit an application to the Department for a canopy modification expansion in 3,000, 6,000, and 9,000 square foot increments up to a maximum of 14,000 square feet. If a licensee is taking a phased opening approach the request for expansion may be considered as a part of that modification request. Licensees must be operational and selling any form of product for at least 2 quarters before applying for a canopy expansion.

Craft growers seeking canopy expansion should submit a Canopy Modification Application along with a CRTA Application for Modification or Alteration Request Form. Copies of those forms are found on the Division of Cannabis Regulation’s Forms Page.  Both completed forms, along with the initial modification application fee payment, should be mailed to:
